The Delaware Counsel Group (“DCG”) is pleased to announce the successful merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery which will now be known as Warner Bros Discovery with trading on the Nasdaq set to begin Monday April 11, 2022 under the ticker symbol “WBD”. As per AT&T Chief Executive Officer John Stankey, “”With the close of this transaction, we expect to invest at record levels in our growth areas of 5G and fiber, where we have strong momentum…”. News of the merger was announced last May with both companies setting out to become a singular media business.
